Sad songs for a happy life!

Especially Metabolism, is a sad song though not so slow. The manera as he sings, suffered so makes me want to cry ... lol, no one would understand. c':

Because they're the kind of slow, sad songs you listen to when you're depressed. At the time i was a little sad, and I was excluded of my friends and all, but i'm over it now. Thanks to my obsession with Julian lol
I don't think it's particularly healthy to treat personal issues in this manner but that's how i've always lived my life. I don't like talking about my problems to other people even close friends, they rarely ever find out and even when they do, it's usually weeks or months later. I get over things by obsessing about something or someone. So as cheesy as it sounds, Julian really truly helped me get over my depression even though he'll probably never know about it. kljdçlksjfkçlsf

Julian's cool and all but his awkwardness is so amusing and adorable.. ahh..

My favourite album is still 'Is This It'. Nopes, not for the sexy ass. lol. Because i could listen to the whole album everyday for the rest of my life and never get bored of it. Definitely recommended for anyone who's just getting into the band.

Not that the rest of the Strokes' discography is subpar, they're all amazing, but i just love everything on their first album. I especially love how they recorded it - compare Julian's vocals then to now. He still sounds good and takes risks with his vocals even more so on Angles but back then, it was just... perfect. The huskiness in his voice - although if it was caused by his smoking and drinking. It was in the first album that i really saw the brilliance of his songwriting.

Meu álbum favorito ainda é 'Is This It'. Nopes, não para a bunda sexy. lol. Porque eu poderia ouvir o álbum inteiro todos os dias para o resto da minha vida e nunca se cansar dele. Definitivamente recomendado para quem está apenas começando a banda.

Não que o resto da discografia do Strokes é subpar, todos eles são incrível, mas eu simplesmente amo tudo em seu primeiro álbum. Eu particularmente adoro a forma como eles gravaram - comparar vocais de Julian então para agora. Ele ainda soa bem e assume riscos com seus vocais, mais ainda, em Angles, mas na época, era apenas ... perfeito. A rouquidão de sua voz - embora se ele foi causado por seu hábito de fumar e beber. Foi no primeiro álbum que eu realmente vi o brilho de sua composição.
